PSP 3000 looks like a replica of PSP 2000 with a few exceptions it has a no glare screen with a built mic and will be released in Europe October 15, 2008. Here are some new pictures leaked from Sony headqarters in Japan of the new upcoming PSP-3000, these comparison shots depicting the difference between the PSP-2000 series and the upcoming PSP-3000 revision. The biggest design feature in the new model is a much improved LCD screen, which provides greater color depth, contrast, and refresh rate over the previous hardware. While it is difficult to really appreciate the differences in a still photo, the images below do strongly suggest that the screen in the PSP-3000 is a major improvement.
This PSP touch screen hack “works with a finger or a stylus” and also adds “beefed up battery life and a better control pad.”
