LG is out with its new cute looking flash memory based music player named the MFFM20. Now this one has a new feature added to it, which is never heard before and neither LG has any word for it, called MUSIC THERAPY! The basic features of this very attractive player include-capacities of 512MB and 1GB., include a one line OLED display, FM Radio, Play for Sure service which enables downloads from services like Napster and also can play up to 20 hours of music.
LG announces its brand new cellphone come mini-laptop LG KT610. The LG KT610 is the latest entrant in the communicator range of mobiles with QWERTY keypads. It has a very unconventional design and looks plain.
Its key features are: 2.4″ 262K-color QVGA display inside, 1.45″ 262K-color secondary display, Symbian OS v9.2 with S60 rel. 3.1 UI, 3G with HSDPA, compact dimensions for a communicator, 2 megapixel fixed-focus camera, built-in GPS receiver with excellent sensitivity, bluetooth and USB v2.0, 64MB of internal memory and micro SD card slot. The audio quality is surprisingly superb for a communicator. The music player has 4 built in equalizer presets and supports user defined ones as well. Its main disadvantage is that it does not comprise wi-fi connectivity, also it has a tiny external display which could be bigger like that of E90 communicator. The LG KT610 is a great performer and is exactly what it was intended to - a low cost smart phone communicator.
The LG KS20 borrows deeply from LG’s desire to make hot devices for the young, urban crowd. Unfortunately, too much of a good things kill as the proverb goes, and the chrome down the sides of a shiny black exterior may be viewed as garish or tasteful- depending of course on your aesthetic sense. While the device fits the hand well, it also has a couple of glaring ergonomic issues. For one, the joy-stick’s a total pain to use, and navigation is irritating. Although based on Windows Mobile 6.0 Pro means application support will be very good , the LG KS20 seems to be more of a lifestyle device than a serious PDA as both number and QWERTY keypads are absent.This is also means that the device is quite compact and lightweight, despite retaining a screen size of 2.8 inches.
The camera and music performance was about par, although it takes more to impress. Once again a nifty add-on by LG is the ability for this phone to play Divx videos like KU990. It is also one of the new PDA phones to support FM radio. The LG KS20 is a stylish device to be sure, but there are better cellphones available at the same price point, which leaves KS20 out in the cold.
