JVC have just reveled the launch of its first foray into the Blu-ray market with the introduction of the NX-BD3 that the company will offer as a 2.1-channel network Media System with Blu-ray disc player.

JVC claims that the NX-BD3 warrants a world’s first accolade as it is the first DLNA certified Blu-ray Player, front surround speakers, and a subwoofer with amplifier.

The player offers Blu-ray Full HD resolution, with Deep Colour and x.v.Colour in 1080p HDMI output and is Profile 1 ver. 1.1 compliant, with features like Bonus View as well as LAN connectivity.

JVC has just announced that next month it will be selling the World’s thinnest LCD with built-in tuners, measuring just 39mm deep across the majority of its width (and 74mm at the deepest center-point).
