So what do I think of the new IE8 well there doesn’t seem to looking like any drastic cosmetic changes and overall no huge changes so far as this new browser focuses on the code functions of what a browser does and that loads internet page. Microsoft say that IE8 is about getting the user the information they need FAST! They also make a rather bold statement saying it provides the user protection that no other browser can match!

We will see wont we as only time will tell, stay tuned for more info about IE8 and don’t forget to check out our brand new forum that needs you to get them going, go on check them out :)

Microsoft IE8 browser revealed Image

Microsoft has announced details about the next version of its Internet Explorer browser

Windows Internet Explorer 8, will promise a stack load of new features as the Seattle based software giant hopes to claw back lost ground lost against the Mozilla foundation and its Firefox browser.

New to the application, which is currently still in beta, will have a focus on private surfing, no doubt ideal for those looking to head to more dubious sites on the web.

InPrivate Browsing and InPrivate Blocking will, when activated, ensure history, temporary internet files and cookies are not recorded on a user’s PC after browsing, while Blocking will work to stop content coming from third parties that are in a position to track and aggregate their online behaviour.

In what seems a direct copy of Firefox, the new browser will sport a Smart Address Bar that looks to work in a virtually identical way to the Awesome bar in latest version of Firefox.

eBay Inc., the world’s largest Internet auctioneer, lowered fees for listing fixed-cost items this week by more than 70 percent to attract additional sellers and compete with Amazon.com. EBay said the changes won’t affect its annual earnings projection.

Sellers will pay 35 cents to list multiple quantities of the same item for 30 days, the San Jose, California-based company said today in a statement. Previously, sellers paid between 35 cents and $4 per item listed for seven days.

Chief Executive Officer John Donahoe’s strategy of removing most upfront fees is designed to boost listings and grab market share from Amazon.com, the world’s largest online retailer. EBay’s sales growth in the second quarter slowed the most since 1998 as consumers, hurt by rising energy and food costs, reduced purchases. The new prices take effect September 16th 2008.
