The Soundbulb has created a speaker from a lightbulb, and this designer has brought technology to a different scale. The SB will be a multi-functional lightbulb with an OHM speaker and a Bluetooth reciever to allow wireless connection for audio, to a computer and cell phone as well. The on/off  switch helps the ping connection of WiFi or Bluetooth, and there is also a LED light bulb included with volume control. iRiver has created the Wave Home and was displayed at CES, and it has a nice design and Wave is basically a networking tool for your home and it is designed for advanced multimedia for the internet and has features for the phone-line as well. This is how it works in a nutshell; Wave has a base network in your home and it has an LCD touch screen display and can be connected to Broadband which could direct you to music photos, movies and all kinds of great digital devices. The handset portion of the device is created to communicate with VOIP calling, therefore; Wave can also be used for regular land-line communications. It’s a set of watches that incorporate GPS, so that you never lose track of your little ones. Likely this won’t be ideal once your kids get a fashion sense of their own, but it will work for at least the younger kids. Hopefully you don’t always have to be wearing the watch either, because even the adult version is a bit unattractive.
