Dell Malaysia has become the first recipient of the Studio 14, the company’s first sub-15-inch Studio model. The new design puts a 14-inch, 1280×800 display with an LED backlight into the more upscale design of the series and is customizable with any of seven different lid colors. comes with relatively fast parts that include a 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB of RAM, and a 250GB hard drive. The system is nonetheless relatively minimal in graphics with the previous-generation GMA X3100 for video.

XPS M1730 is a new innovative idea of Dell. Its basically a gaming laptop with the latest Core 2 Extreme X7900 special processor and 2.8 GHz clock speed and second time overclocked to 3.4 GHz via the BIOS.

Giz4Geeks has just found out that early report from users of the Dell Studio Hybrid say that it is trying to be a general purpose system when Dell should have simply tricked out its media center capabilities to their max.

Dell has officially announced the new Studio line of laptops, sitting somewhere between the budget Inspiron line and high-end XPS line.
