Good news For everyone out there that wants to unlock their iPhone 3G but still want to stay up to date with the latest software version as the Dev Team have just released a snap shot that shows that the iPhone 3G unlocked but still on the latest 2.2 firmware released by apple.
The Dev Team should be getting to release this software unlock some point this month, so fingers crossed!

Rogers claimed the distinction of being the first North American carrier to have a completed 7.2Mbps HSPA network. The speed allows anyone in Rogers’ 3G areas to theoretically download twice as quickly as both the Canadian provider’s earlier 3G network and for most of AT&T, either of which has topped out at 3.6Mbps. The company also plans to expand the total 3G area to cover about 75 percent of Canada’s total population by the end of this month.

Apple today have sent out an email to all its current MobileMe customers giving them and extra 60 days free, Apples website states,
”We sent out an email today containing the news that we are giving every current MobileMe subscriber a free 60 day extension for their subscription. This is in addition to the 30 day extension most subscribers have already received. As stated in the email we’ve already made many improvements to MobileMe, but we still have many more to make, and we appreciate our subscribers’ patience while we turn things around. We are working very hard to make MobileMe a great service we can all be proud of.”
