Well bad news is on the horizion for all those YouTube users in the UK that watch & listen to music videos as they are blocking all premium videos after talks to reach a new licensing agreement with the Performing Right Society (PRS) broke down and failed.

Thousands of videos will be pulled  from YouTube later today which is going to anger millions of reqular users out there.

Heres a short statement from the BBC News website,

”Patrick Walker, YouTube’s director of video partnerships, told that the move was “regrettable”.
Steve Porter, head of the PRS, said he was “outraged… shocked and disappointed” by YouTube’s decision.
In a statement, Mr Porter said the move “punishes British consumers and the songwriters whose interests we protect and represent”.
The PRS has asked YouTube to reconsider its decision as a “matter of urgency”.

Dual-Torch Windproof Butane Gas Lighter

Tagged Under :

I received a nice parcel this morning from the guys over at BudgetGadgets.com which included this great Dual-Torch Windproof Butane Gas Lighter.

It’s not just a lighter though oh no it’s what every boy and man needs in there pocket, it includes a small 2” knife, a small pair of scissors, nail file, bottle opener and a flat head screwdriver!

So what do I think of it?
Well from picking it up its got a nice weight and to it but not too much to weight you down thought which is nice, it’s got a very comfortable soft rubber grip which you can tell is good quality and its overall look is great it’s a mix of chrome and brushed steel.

img_2544
The tools that are included with this lighter are neatly hidden in the handle, scissors are on the left hand side which we easy to pull out and are good enough for me as they cut paper, thin plastic, string and card what more could you want to cut from a small portable pair of scissors?

img_2526
The knife and file are on the right hand side of the handle, the knife is easy to slide out with the tip of your nail and is relatively sharp for general uses but could be sharpened if needed but as its only 2” I think it fine as it is, and now the file which did prove to be a little hard to get out of the handle not because of being stiff it’s just hard to grip with the tip of your nail. Once out it’s a nice file with a bottle opener on the bottom and the tip is a flat head screwdriver, which is perfect for them times when you need them.

Now to the main function of the lighter and that’s the FIRE! The button to ignite the lighter is nice and fits the thumb perfectly, on pressing down the button the top cap that covers the lighter opens quickly and smoothly lighting the double jet flames instantly.

img_2536
The dual jet flames are very very powerful and very hot which is overall the main thing you want from a lighter, the flame can be adjusted at the bottom by turning a small wheel left or right which is next to the fuel refill inlet.

To sum up this lighter I would say that it’s the perfect lighter for anyone one who wants a quality build product at an unbelievably low price of $6.88, click here to view the product page.

Check out this great new space saving Zyliss Palm Held

Pizza Slicer. I think this kind of pizza slicer is long overdue as this cuts much better with less pressure than its older brothers do as most of the pressure is lost in the length of the handle, with the Zyliss you are the one in total control as its not gonna wobble all over the place like the the old handle ones do.

The Fast Finger Keyboard throws QWERTY right out of the window, but not totally

Fast Finger Keyboard

The Fast Finger Keyboard throws QWERTY right out of the window, but not totally. There are new generation of typers who may not need to learn the basic QWERTY method any longer but instead just learn the keys in order of the alphabet. I’m not sure why no one ever thought of this method before, but I’m glad that someone has because I actually would love to try it out. I’m sure it may be awkward in the beginning and I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it. Now preschoolers can have typing skills, and the QWERTY keys are in red, so you can use them or avoid them completely if you wish., and the function keys are designed above the letters so you can make shortcuts. Now ABCDEF is the new way of learning typing. It’s pretty interesting and you can buy them now for only $27.95 at Fast Finger Keyboards.com and the Lady who created this wonderful device is Faith Quintavell and you may contact her by email at this site, or write for more product information.
