Compulab creates Exeda and it was introduced to the world on January 2 2009 and it is an convenient hand-held device that’s easy to use and great connection to wireless and wired connections. The Exeda is basically a EDA which means Enterprise Digital Assistant and if you get them in bulk like for a company you will be guaranteed to have them configured the way you would like them. Exeda offers developers an open source bootloader, and detailed hardware/software information, with full BSP’s and 10/100Base-T which is an Ethernet port . The JTAG interface is also available and Unlocked SIM. There is also great usability because Exeda has a 3.5″ VGA sun-readable with a touch screen, with a full QWERTY backlit keypad and a touchpad which is like a mouse, therefore you can browse and enter data online. The connectivity has a few choices because CompuLab has extensions with not only JTAG but SDIO, and RJ45 connector, and Bluetooth is also designed with it and not only V2.0 but EDR as well. It is equipped with 802.11gWLAN with wireless voice/data that has 3G UMTS, CDMA, quad band GSM/GPRS. This device also has 128MB of RAM, 2 banks of Flash which are 512MB per flash, and 2MP camera flash, Marvell PXA270 which has 520MB CPU, and a high capacity of 3000mAh battery, and a built in microphone with 3.5mm of stereo included. As far as operating systems are concerned Exeda is compatible with not only Windows Mobil 6.1, but also with Android, Windows CE 6 and Linux. The dimensions for this device are 4.9†x 3x.7â€x0.6†and in millimeters it is 126mm x 96mm x 16mm.
