The newly awaited iPhone operating system which is for the iPhone, iPhone 3G and the iPod touch has just been unveiled at Apple’s conference today.

iPhone 3.0 OS New Features

So what’s new in the latest 3.0 operating system, well there are over a 100 new features which is pretty darn amazing don’t you think, I mean we all knew that it was going to be big but no this big and at last COPY & PASTE! FINALLY

• Copy & Paste. You will be able to double-tap over text, and will get a “cut, copy, and paste” bubble dialog. Double-tapping again and a “paste” bubble will appear if there’s anything stored in your clipboard, which is great as we have waited long enough haven’t we!
This copy & paste feature will work across lots of applications and don’t worry if you paste something by mistake you can just shake the iPhone to erase what you just pasted, cool hu!

Rumor: Premium App Store for High Priced iPhone Apps!

Tagged Under : , ,

iphone-app-storeThere’s loads of rumors flying around the net today that apple could be making a new app store dedicated to premium high priced apps only. Now I do have to stress these are just rumors, none of the developers out there could confirm this.

But thats think about this for just a minute, do we really want a high priced premium app store sure there are the benifits that the apps could be like full length games just downsized for the iPhone which would be great would’nt it.

Just imange your on the train and you could get a few rounds of COD (Call of Duty) in whilst travling would’nt that be just amazing but then the gates are open for apps to be charged like the games for a Sony PSP or Nintendo DS which I dont think i could justify to be totally honest, but hey like i said they are just rumors at the moment so we will just have to sit back and see what happens wont we.

Would you use a high priced App Store if apple was to make one?

Tagged Under :

b456_clarifi_iphone_case_macro_lens

The Clarifi iPhone Case with Macro Lens makes clear shot photos of secret documents and all you have to do is slide the built-in lens over your iPhone’s camera and take clear shots of business cards, or other close-up items. Then you can use those photos with free iPhone applications which scans barcodes in stores to find you the best prices, or like Evernote which takes photos you shoot and can create searchable pictures database from any text in the photo.
This device is for purchase at ThinkGeek.com for only $24.99. Since it’s a single device,  there are no adapters to fumble over or small pieces lying around, waiting for you to lose them. Make sure that you use this device with an iPhone 3G though  because it doesn’t work with the iPhone 3G’s predecessor.

iPhone 3G Unlock from iPhone Unlock HQ
If you own an iPhone 3G then Im sure you are aware that when you purchase your shiny new iPhone 3G, its unfortunately restricted to 1 network carrier (i.e. AT&T in the US and o2 in the UK). For many people this is a real nuisance.

Since the iPhone 3G was released last year there have been a number of  iPhone 3G Unlocking Solutions floating around the web, mainly TurboSIM devices that require you to cut your SIM card and are known to have lots of problems with signal and reception leaving dozens of iPhone 3G users stuck with a locked iPhone 3G or risking the problematic, unstable TurboSIM unlock.

Until now  iPhone Unlock HQ are a newly formed iPhone Unlocking company who provide the ultimate solution for unlocking any iPhone. iUnlock 3G is the iPhone 3G Unlocking solution from  iPhone Unlock HQ. Its a digital / software unlock which can be downloaded instantly after you have purchased. It contains every single file that you need to unlock your iPhone, as well as a very sleek step-by-step guide detailed with screenshots at every step.

iUnlock 3G costs just £9.99, with the option to add iUnlock updates for life for £4.99 (every time Apple release a new firmware version, you will receive the iUnlock 3G update for free).

Of course you can unlock your iPhone 3G for free, yourself using one of the apps available around the web but you dont get the satisfaction of guaranteed unlocking updates, nor do you get access to premium 24 / 7 support! For less than a tenner its well worth the cash!

Wal-Mart giving $2.00 discounts on iPhone 3G’s

Wal-Mart giving $2.00 discounts on iPhone 3G’s

Wal-Mart is a great discount store that sells the iPhone 3G for a big $2.00 dollar difference and Apple is selling it for $199 comparing to Walmart’s $197.00 in both cases you still have a 2-year agreement attached. There are basically 3,200 Wal-Mart locations but just over 2,000 Wal-Mart stores will carry this iPhone, so you may want to call before you go to the store.

The 8GB version will cost $197 and the 16GB version will cost $297. Apple has announced a iPhone that will only cost $99.00. If you live closer to Wal-Mart then you will save a bit on gas, but if you live close to an Apple location you will save money on gas along with Hassle free waiting, and you don’t stand a chance of being trampled to death in an Apple store, so for safety and less crowds, an Apple store may be the best thing for now.
For more information for purchase of this iPhone please go to  Wal-Mart.com or try apple.com

iLava

The iPhone has just become more interesting when Gotham Wave Games created the Lava Lamp application for the iPhone. The iPhone will allow you  to push the lava around the screen with your fingers, and taking advantage of the iPhone’s multi-touch display.

You can also push blobs together and merge them or pull them apart. It’s almost like a game and I think many users would have fun with it but when you touch the screen there is no feeling of the lava you are moving and it is also available now for download and it’s only $0.99 from Gotham Wave Games
