Philips has designed a New Cinema called The 219 HDTV, and this TV is designed the screen to be formatted 21:9 and you can see 2.35:1 movie that will dominate your TV screen and they has also designed the TV to adjust for DVD’s created for 16:9, although this has never been done before it would have been great to advertise this at CES. The 219 will be released this spring but there is no information thus far on the pricing.
