iRiver has created the Wave Home and was displayed at CES, and it has a nice design and Wave is basically a networking tool for your home and it is designed for advanced multimedia for the internet and has features for the phone-line as well. This is how it works in a nutshell; Wave has a base network in your home and it has an LCD touch screen display and can be connected to Broadband which could direct you to music photos, movies and all kinds of great digital devices. The handset portion of the device is created to communicate with VOIP calling, therefore; Wave can also be used for regular land-line communications. Wave has other cool features that comes with it like; Widget, video camera with 1.3 Megapixel CMOS. The widget allows access for weather, traffic and stock market news briefs. There is also another new feature that will be available on Wave and it will be an advanced type of Widget that is mostly displayed on
iRiver.com and products will be available June 2009 and the Wave will cost around $400.
