Slingbox has created the all-new SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone, and another will be an HD SlingPlayer for Mac. Slingbox allows the DVR/set-box video to connect directly to their iPhone screens. Many kinds of  SlingPlayer Mobile devices have gone into the market in the past few years, and the SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry is now available in beta. By the quarter of the year, Sling Media will approve the iPhone version of SlingPlayer Mobile to get it’s “certification” in Q1, other than that, it’s not known when Apple will approve this device for their store. Apple has given the green light for other streaming applications, like Joost for iPhone and OrbLive, so maybe SlingPlayer Mobile will be next in line. Apple is an awesome company, and love technology of course, so you can never tell what they may have in mind. For the SlingPlayer Mobile iPhone there is no information about the pricing for this device but, the other versions of SlingPlayers are selling for about $30.00. SlingPlayer for Mac is coming out soon with great HD-Quality from Slingbox Pro HD, but the PC version will be Web-Based and the Mac version only streams SD Video.
